Fragile Cosmopolitans In Summer 2005 with a 2005 international collaboration grant from The Wenner-Gren Foundation for Anthropological Research, I began a project with South Korean anthropologist CHO Han Haejoang and a team of U.S. and South Korea-based graduate student anthropologists. We are now compiling a multi-authored volume on the global desires and anxieties of South Korean college students – we have titled it, Fragile Cosmopolitans.

Korean American Mental Health in its Familial Context This is a joint project in which I have collaborated with clinical psychologist Sumie Okazaki. We are also working with Angela Wiley of the Department of Human Development and Family Studies on outreach activities that build from the project.
